The Advanced Center for Chemical Analysis was honored by a visit from a delegation of the University of Tripoli, headed by the University President, Prof. Dr. Khaled Aoun. They were received by the General Director of the Center, the Director of Administrative Affairs, and the Director of the International Cooperation Office. The visit began with a meeting that addressed all important topics serving both parties and explored ways of collaboration between them. The initial outlines of a joint cooperation agreement between the Center and the University of Tripoli were drawn, which we will begin preparing from now. There was also a discussion on how to support the internal PhD program and make use of the Center’s laboratories in a way that benefits the program and strengthens its capabilities. After the meeting, the University President took a quick tour inside the laboratories, where he listened to explanations about the nature of the analyses, the target entities, and the major national projects currently being carried out at the Center.
